Park University (MO)

An NAIA record-holder by the time she left Park University, Maria Ruiz scored 109 career goals at Park, a mark that stood in the NAIA top 10 at the conclusion of her career and second all-time for the Pirates. Throughout her career, she was among the NAIA’s leaders in points and points per game, as well as game-winning goals, a category she ranked fourth in, nationally, at the conclusion of the 2006 season. She helped Park to the NAIA national tournament in 2005 and 2006, and was an All-American in 2006, ending her Park career with 109 goals, 34 assists, and 256 points, before moving on to play professionally in Europe.
