A National Champion for the Pirates in the 1996 100-meter race at the NAIA National Meet, Jasmine Sampson was a six-time All-American between 1994 and 1996. Jasmine left Park as a member of the school-record holding 4X400 meter team, as well as the record holder in the 100-meter dash, 200-meter run, and 400-meter run. Her efforts in the 1996 national meet led Park to its best women's finish as a team at the NAIA meet, finishing 11th in 1996, her senior season.
