Park University (MO)

Both a donor and team physician for the Park University Department of Athletics, Michael Shafe introduced Park Athletics drug and alcohol policy, making playing for the Pirates one of the safest, healthiest environments in the NAIA. His gift to the track program also introduced student-athletes to new opportunities, enabling Park to recruit students in the pole-vault event with gifts of equipment and pole-vault pits.
