Wall of Honor
A building bearing his name is only one of the many marks Dr. Donald J. Breckon made on Park athletics. President at Park from 1987 to 2001, Dr. Breckon was the catalyst behind the acceleration of athletics at Park, overseeing the dedication of Julian Field, one of the finest collegiate soccer facilities in the NAIA, and 31,000 square feet of athletics facilities and seating known as the Breckon Sports Center, home to Park University basketball and volleyball. Dr. Breckon will long be known for his contributions to increased enrollment, the addition of quality athletic programs and top-notch facilities, among many other accomplishments from his time as the Pirates' president.
