Ed Bradley (1946-2018) – friend, fan, family. A loyal Park University supporter, Ed Bradley was part of the inaugural four Park Athletics Wall of Honor committees, and engagement in the community also touched Park University Athletics in ways that will stand for years to come. Bradley rarely missed a game, and his seat will be permanently marked inside the Breckon Sports Center. His business, BankLiberty, is a faithful sponsor to Pirate Athletics, and he was active in multiple athletics initiatives at Park, including the Park Golf Scramble and community day events to gather support from Parkville and surrounding Northland businesses. As vice president of BankLiberty, Bradley was extremely engaged in the Northland and one of the community's most respected business leaders. Bradley was deeply committed and active with numerous organizations, including volunteer firefighting (Plattsburg, Missouri, and Lake Waukomis) and American Red Cross, Reach Out America, Platte County EDC, Northland Chamber of Commerce, Parkville EDC, Kansas School of the Blind, he spearheaded the formation of Perkins Park in Plattsburg, Missouri, Parkville Downtown Association and Riverside Chamber of Commerce. Bradley served in many volunteer capacities for Park University, including lending his time to the selection of candidates as a member of the Wall of Honor selection committee since 2015. He was also the University's Torchlighter Award winner in 2015, an honor given by the Park University Alumni Association to individuals who have made significant, long-standing contributions and commitment to the University. He was also part of the accreditation process for the Park University School of Business as a founding member of the School of Business Advisory Council.
