The Park University cheer program was in Olathe, Kan. Friday, February 20 for the MNU Invitational hosted by MidAmerica Nazarene University. 

In just the second meet of the season, the Pirates had a 13 point improvement to a 79.08. There were still some technical points to be had and deductions that kept Park below the 80 score mark.

As a team the Pirates placed 4th in the meet and were 1.45 points behind the 3rd place William Penn Statesemen. Another Heart of America Athletic Conference school, Baker University took the win at the meet with an 82.75.
