2025 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Day Three Recap: Women’s 4x100m Keeps Raising the Bar and Earn All-America Status Along with a New School Record

5/27/2025 3:38:00 PM

The Park University outdoor track & field program capped off the 2025 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships with six NAIA All-Americans after day three of nationals in Marion, Ind.

The women's 4x100m relay team continued to make history for the program and broke their own program record previously set on day one of the championships. Hannah Mand, Mya Charles, Rosjai Curtis, and Alexandria Sherman are the fastest 4x100m relay team to run at Park with a 46.56.

"Extremely proud", said Head Coach Rikki Hacker. "The team really came together in a big way at the end of the year and our team far exceeded expectations".

This group can now also claim the title of 2025 NAIA All-America with a 6th place finish.

Coach Hacker gave some factors that led to the impressive numbers the 4x100m relay team were able to put up. "The handoffs got better every race, this group put so much into their training in the weeks after conference, and they were prepared for challenging weather and did not let it impact them".

Coach Hacker was quick to give credit to each member of the women's 4x100m relay team for making great strides throughout the year and that their improvements can be seen in their national championship performance.

The Pirates now have 6 NAIA All-Americans from the 2025 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, all on the women's team. This is the most outdoor All-Americans earned by the track & field program since 2003 and the most women's outdoor All-Americans since 1996.

Curtis is an NAIA All-American in three separate events; long jump, triple jump, and 4x100m relay. Including the indoor season, she has five NAIA All-American awards in just her freshman year at Park. The 2025 NAIA Long Jump National Champion is no stranger to delivering when it counts and came in to Park as the 2024 KSHSAA State Champion in Long Jump and Triple Jump, representing Shawnee Mission North High School.

Park women's track scored 16 points in the national championship meet, placing 14th. Park was tied with fellow Heart of America Athletic Conference member MidAmerica Nazarene University as the two leading Heart schools at the national meet.
