2025 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Day Two Recap: Curtis Makes All-American in Triple Jump, Caines and Charles Compete in 800m and 100m

The Park University outdoor track & field program have another 2025 NAIA Outdoor All-American after two days of competition in Marion, Ind. for the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships.
The previous day, Rosjai Curtis took the NAIA crown in the long jump and on day two earns her second NAIA Outdoor Track & Field All-American award, this time in the triple jump.

Curtis has earned 13 points overall in the national championship meet, taking 6th in the triple jump at 12.15m. Curtis, the freshman out of Shawnee Mission North HS, has soared in her freshman season and has earned All-American status four times in long jump and triple jump in both the indoor and outdoor seasons.

Curtis joins Bailey Turner from the 2021-22 season as the last time Park had a long jump and triple jump NAIA All-American in the same outdoor championship.

Curtis with four NAIA All-American awards between indoor and outdoor is the most since Aaliyah Brown, a Park Wall of Honor recipient from 2016-2019, who had five NAIA All-American honors over her career in both indoor and outdoor championships.

Curtis and Mya Charles both took on the women's 100m yesterday, placing 19th and 23rd respectively. Curtis crossed ahead of Charles at 12.10, while close behind was Charles at 12.21. These two will take on the women's 4x100m relay today with Hannah Mand and Alexandria Sherman in the national championship final at 12:40pm (CT).

Alexander Caines, a 2024 NAIA Outdoor National Championship qualifier in the men's 800m, made his return to the 800m event and took 19th with a time of 1:55.11.

Park has one more opportunity for glory with the women's 4x100m relay team today in Marion, Ind. at 12:40pm (CT).
