The Park University women's golf program was at Paradise Pointe Golf Complex in Smithville, Mo. on Monday and Tuesday for the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championship Preview. The Pirates improved from day one to day two and came away with 3rd place.

The Pirates moved up two spots in the standings to finish out the tournament, beginning play with a 362 on day one and then improving to a 351 on day two for a 713. (RV) Mount Mercy University won the event with a 670.

Micaela Suhl was the top golfer for Park in the top 10 at 6th with a 165, firing rounds of 84 and 81.

Kim Albertus was just outside of the top 10 with a 172 for T12th on rounds of 85 and 87.

The freshman Bella Negley has been a strong contributor in her season debut with a T20th performance, moving up nine spots. She shot a 184 on a 96 and 88.

Grace Rogers took T29th with a 193 with scores of 97 and 96. Her teammate Peyton Kuhlman was just one stroke back with a 194 with scores of 99 and 95 for 32nd.

The Pirates will now await the spring portion of their schedule. RESULTS
