The (RV) Park University women's golf program was in action in York, Neb. on Monday and Tuesday, coming away with the grand prize by 20 strokes for 1st place at the York Fall Invitational.
Park scored a 660 on rounds of 336 and 324. Park took 2nd place in their previous tournament and is trending in the right direction with their first tournament win of 2025-26.Â
Micaela Suhl has been a special player at Park and now has four 1st place finishes in her career. She won the event by seven strokes, scoring an 81 in round one and then just five strokes over par in round two with a 75 for a 156 total.
Bella Negley and
Kim Albertus were in the top 10 and they matched each other's score of 167 to place T5th. Negley hit a 85 and 82, while Albertus flipped those scores at 82 and 85.
Grace Rogers moved up seven slots on the final day with a six stroke improvement from an 88 to an 82. She took T7th on a 170.
Peyton Kuhlman finished in 25th with a 192 on consistent rounds of 96.
Alivia Amberg competed as an individual and came in 28th with a 201 with rounds of 99 and 102.
The Pirates look ahead to senior day at the Virginia McCoy Fall Invitational at the National Golf Club of Kansas City at the Bluffs Golf Course on October 13 and 14. Sunday evening will be Park's senior night ceremony at the National, where
Peyton Kuhlman will be recognized.
