The Park University women's golf program had their home tournament on October 13-14 at the National Golf Club of Kansas City and at the Bluffs.
The tournament gets it name in memory of Virginia "Jinny" McCoy, a huge supporter of Park golf and a dearly missed member of the Park University community.
The Pirates took 2nd place behind Mount Mercy University. The Mustangs won with a total of 647, while the Pirates shot 663 on rounds of 338 and 325.Â
The Pirates also celebrated its senior golfer,
Peyton Kuhlman on Sunday, October 12.Â
Micaela Suhl led Park who was T3rd with a 156 on rounds of 82 and 74.
Kim Allbertus was also within the top five at 5th with scores of 82 and 77 for a159.Â
Bella Negley was up next for Park at T9th with a 167 on rounds of 86 and 81 for a 167.
Grace Rogers dropped in the standings after round two into 32nd with a score of 183 with an 88 and 95.
Peyton Kuhlman moved up three spots into 37th with a 196 on rounds of 103 and a 10 stroke improvement to 93 in round two.
Alivia Amberg competed as an individual with a 204 in scores of 108 and 96.
