The Park University men's golf program will begin their 2024 campaign receiving votes in NAIA's Preseason Top 25 Poll.
The Pirates were second in the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championship Tournament last season by one-stroke. The graduated senior Guillermo Cervantes won the event though and competed as an individual in Dalton, Ga. last year at the NAIA National Championship Tournament.
The Pirates began the season ranked No. 24 in the 2023-24 preseason poll and with the return of two Heart All-Conference golfers, Dylan Comstock and Santiago Valdes, Park definitely makes for a case for themselves. There are four newcomers along with a solid group of returners to provide good depth to the lineup.
Park has begun the year at the UC Ferguson Invitational in Oklahoma City, Okla. hosted by No. 18 Oklahoma City University. The tournament features three teams in the Top 25 and five teams besides Park that are receiving votes.
