The Park University softball program has the exciting news of Halle Magee being selected for the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Region V Second Team, announced by the NFCA on May 24.

Magee finished her third season as a Pirate and the 2024 Heart Second Team All-Conference shortstop put up a tremendous year for Park, leading in batting average with .336 and extra base-hits with 20, to name a couple.
 
This season she had 11 doubles, a new career-high, earned four triples for the second season in a row, and hit five home runs. She now has 17 home runs hit in her career, which is one home run shy of tying the all-time career home run record at Park.
 
This is the first NFCA All-Region award of her career as she heads into her senior year in 2024=25.
