The No. 3 nationally ranked Park University men's volleyball program was in action against University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy in St. Louis, Mo. and earned the 3-1 win, 25-17, 19-25, 25-15, 25-20.
Despite UHSP having double the blocks of the Pirates, Park had 17 more kills than the Eutectics.
Leading the way for Park was
Adrian Figueroa with 16 kills and
Murillo Silva crossing the 10 kill threshold with 12.
 With more than half his team's blocks,
Moises Ortiz was a great asset with four blocks and eight kills.Â
The Pirates hit .238 as a team, while the Eutectics were at .063. Their .316 second set was the highlight of the match for UHSP, but besides that they were unable to get much going against the Pirates.
Veljko Stojic led the Pirates with seven digs for the match, while it was nearly an even split between
Jovan Nikolic and
Umberto Caleca at setter. 22 assists for Nikolic and 18 for Caleca.
