Moises Ortiz is a towering middle blocker known for his strong presence at the net. A freshman from Bani, Dominican Republic, Moises transferred from UC San Diego and quickly became a key contributor on the court. During the 2025 season, he has recorded impressive highs, including 13 kills and 14.5 points in a single match against Kansas Wesleyan, and a season-high of 8 total blocks versus Missouri Baptist. Moises brings solid offensive production with a .307 hitting percentage and defensive strength with over 98 total blocks on the year, averaging 1.14 blocks per set.
