The Park University women's cross country program raced in the highly competitive Gans Creek Classic on Friday in Columbia, Mo, taking on a mix of NCAA, NJCAA, and NAIA teams. The Pirates are continuing to build on the season and they took 16th with 447 points.
Sophia Van Asselt was the first Pirate to cross in the 6k in a time of 24:41 for 107th.
Anna Joyce was also inside 25 minutes with a time of 24:58 for 125th.Â
Charlotte Timba came in son after in 142nd place for a 25:31.
Jasmin Klaunig raced for 164th in a time of 26:15, while
Hannah Mand was also in the 26 minute range for a 26:40 in 176th.Â
Jonnicia Williams was just outside of 27 minutes at 27:08 for 190th.
Lilly Comarcho placed 204th and was the 7th Pirate to come in at a time of 28:50.
