The Park University women's cross country program was in Columbia, Mo. at Gans Creek Cross Country course on Friday for the Larry Young Invite.
As a team, the Pirates were in the hunt with 4th place out of 11 teams with 85 points scored.
Anna Joyce has been consistent so far this season and earned her second consecutive 5th place finish. This time she was over 20 minutes, but still crossed in a great time of 20:17.2.
Sophia Van Asselt ran a 20:17 in last week's 5k, but this time around in the Larry Young Invite she ran a 20:54.9 and was in the top 10 at 9th.
Charlotte Timba was 18th last week and put together another quality performance at Gans Creek with a 19th place finish in a time of 21:36.5.
Hannah Mand was close behind Timba in 23rd with a time of 21:40.48.
Jasmine Klaunig was also under 22 minutes at 21:58.35 for 30th.
Jonnicia Williams took 61st with a time of 23:33.26 and Park's seventh finisher was Destiny Pearson at the 24:41.18 mark for 75th.

Park takes this week off and will be back in action, also in Columbia, Mo. for the Gans Creek Classic hosted by University of Missouri.
