The Park University No. 5 nationally ranked women's beach volleyball program continued their season in Lincoln, Neb. on Friday with a single match with University of Nebraska. The NCAA Division I Huskers were playing well and each pair got sweeps over the Pirates, 5-0
The Pirates will move to 3-3 on the season with their only losses coming against NCAA Division I opponents and all their wins against NCAA Division II or III teams.

It was a close first set between the No. 1's, as
Maria Pim and
Izabella Ceratti were stride for stride with Nebraska, 21-19. The following set the Huskers pulled away though, 21-11. Park's 2's
Aly Anderson and
Grecia Ung came into the match with a 4-1 record, but experienced road blocks against the Huskers, 21-13 and 21-10.
Mafalda Bras and
Luna Martins had the lowest spread of 10 in point differential in the No. 3 slot, but still were unable to get a set on Nebraska, 21-15 and 21-17. The No. 4 squad in
Carla Pons Sales and
Patricia Carrio Ubeda move to 3-3 on the season, while
Abi Williams and
Loes Peijenberg in the No. 5 spot move to 2-4.
