No. 4 Park Four Out Four Qualifying for NAIA Beach Volleyball Invitational Tournament

The Park University No. 4 nationally ranked women's beach volleyball program makes preparations for their fourth straight appearance to the NAIA Beach Volleyball National Invitational Tournament in Greeneville, Tenn. at Greeneville Beach Volleyball Complex from April 24 through April 27.

This is only the fourth year since the invitational tournament has been established and the Pirates are among four other teams who have also qualified for four consecutive invitationals.
 
With a five-match winning streak and a 15-6 overall record, the Pirates are also fresh off of a 2025 Central States Conference Tournament Championship, where they defeated No. 10 Texas Wesleyan by a 3-1 decision.
 
No. 4 Park has been assigned to Pool A with No. 1 OUAZ, No. 5 Arizona Christian, and No. 8 Southern Oregon. This marks the first year, the tournament field has been expanded from six to eight qualifying teams.
 
The Pirates face Southern Oregon at 11am (CT) on Thursday, April 24 and immediately following will play Arizona Christian at 3pm (CT).
 
The next day, the Pirates will battle with OUAZ on Friday, April 25 at 9am (CT). Quarterfinals will be the same day, while the semifinals and championship will be on Saturday and Sunday, April 26-27.
 
2025 NAIA Invitational Schedule
4/24, 11am (CT) vs No. 8 Southern Oregon – Pool Play
4/24, 3pm (CT) vs No. 5 Arizona Christian – Pool Play
4/25, 9am (CT) vs No. 1 OUAZ – Pool Play
4/25, Quarterfinals 1:30pm or 3:30pm (CT)
4/26, Semifinals 10am (CT)
4/27, Championship 1pm (CT)
 
In the last three invitationals, the Pirates are 3-7 overall. They will enter their fourth matchup with OUAZ in 2025, a team Park is 2-1 against the last three years at nationals. In the most recent matchup last year, the Spirit did sweep Park 5-0 though.
 
Leading Park this season are Park's 2s, who were named the Central States Conference Pair of the Year, Grecia Ung and Aly Anderson. Park's 3s, Luna Martins and Mafalda Bras joined Ung and Anderson as 1st Team All-Conference performers as well. The Pirates have a pair of seniors that have been to all four invitationals in the 4s and have stood out as 2nd Team All-Conference recipients.
