4/29/2025 10:34:00 AM

The Park University No. 4 seeded women's beach volleyball program had an excellent run at the 2025 NAIA National Invitational Tournament in Greeneville, Tenn. from April 24-26, going 3-2 for a semifinalist appearance.

Park set a new program best with 18 wins on the season, the most wins in their four appearances at nationals, and the Pirates' semifinalist finish is the furthest the team has gone at the national stage.

Park's 2 pair, Aly Anderson and Grecia Ung, were named to the NAIA Invitational All-Tournament, while Izabella Ceratti and Maria Pim in the 1 slot are AVCA NAIA All-America.

Park opened up pool play with a 3-2 win over No. 8 Southern Oregon University. The Pirates picked up wins from the 2-4 pairs, including commanding set wins by Anderson and Ung, and Bras and Martins. Carla Pons Sales and Patricia Carrio Ubeda had a close match, but bested Southern Oregon in a 2-0 sweep, like the other two pairs.
