The No. 25 Park University women's golf program was the big winner at the Heart Fall Preview on Monday and Tuesday at the Nicklaus Golf Club at LionsGate in Overland Park, Kan.
The Pirates were four strokes better than the 2
nd place Statesmen from William Penn University. Park were consistent with two rounds of 323 for a 646.Park has officially won four out of their five Fall tournaments.
It was a well-rounded event for the entire Pirate lineup, as three of Park's golfers were within the top 10.
Micaela Suhl scored a 75 and 75, securing T2nd with a 152.
Anna Korsen was only four strokes behind in 4
th place with a 156 with scores of 79 and 77. Â
Coming in 7
th was
Kim Albertus with a 166 on scores of 82 and 84.
Just outside the top 10 was
Grace Rogers in 14
th with rounds of 91 and 82 for a 172.
T26 was
ZaZa Cagle with a scorecard of 184 with a 91 and 93.
Park will be back in the Spring to carry the torch into the second half of the 2024-25 season.
