How it happened
Both sides played a quiet first half, as Morningside had just three shots in the first half, and the Pirates had just one. However, things picked up quickly in the second half, particularly in the last 30 minutes of the match. Fenna Van Mill finally broke the tie in the 66th minute of the contest with a goal assisted by Trinay Garcia. Just four minutes later, Park responded with an
Aryana Rashidi goal to tie the match at 1-1. However, the tie didn't last long at all. Just 18 seconds later, Ida Carlsson got a beautiful ball delivered from Trinay Garcia to put Morningside back up 2-1. Park had three late shots, including one on goal, but couldn't put it in the back of the net to tie back up the match. After 90 minutes of play, Park lost 2-1.
