The No. 1 nationally ranked Park University men's volleyball team is the No. 1 overall seed in the 2026 NAIA Men's Volleyball Championship field. Park has punched their ticket as an automatic qualifier to the national tournament in Cedar Rapids, Iowa at Alliant Energy PowerHouse. Pool Play will run from April 28 through April 30, while the semifinal and championship will be the Friday and Saturday, May 1-2.
This is the 6th national championship appearance for Park since NAIAÂ men's volleyball moved to championship status in 2019. No. 3 St. Xavier (Ill.) is the only team with more appearances at 7. When you combine the national appearances before 2019, the Pirates have 25 appearances since 2000 and have only missed out on NAIA post-season in 2018 and 2024 during that span.
The Pirates are currently riding their program record of 31 wins in a row and were a perfect 19-0 in Heart play, hoisting both the Heart Regular Season and Tournament crowns. This, of course, is in the highly touted Heart of America Athletic Conference where three other qualifiers have emerged, No. 4 Missouri Valley College, No. 6 Mount Mercy University, and No. 10 William Penn University.
Park has four player of the year honors to mention from the Heart, including
Adrian Figueroa as both Player and Attacker of the Year,
Moises Ortiz as Middle Blocker of the Year, and
Murillo Silva as Co-Freshman of the Year.

Westcliff University (Calif.) comes in at 20-4 on the year with a perfect 10-0 Cal Pac conference record, which includes the Cal Pac tournament championship. The Pirates and Westcliff met earlier at Breckon Sports Center at the Pirate Invitational, where Park won 3-1. Park is 5-0 against Westcliff, playing the Warriors each season since 2022. This will be the first post-season matchup between these two programs and the Warriors make their second trip to the championship site.
Ottawa University Arizona is the only team to beat the previously undefeated and reigning 2025 National Champion, No. 2 The Master's University. OUAZ only has two conferences losses on the year in Great Southwest Athletic Conference play at 12-2 and is 20-5 on the season. They are the GSACÂ Tournament Runner-Up this year and have four appearances to the national championship. Park is 3-0 against the Spirit with two most recent wins in NAIA Pool Play in 2022 and 2023.
Park's senior class,
Mihailo Ivanovic,
Veljko Stojic, and
Ignacio Pedemonte have been a part of all eight of the wins against this year's pool play opponents.
