The Park University men's volleyball program was in Sioux City, Iowa on March 6 against No. 14 Morningside University. The Pirates played a well balanced match for the sweep, 25-19, 25-13, 25-16.
Park had 12 kills in each set and did not hit below .368, finishing the match with a .394.
Park was able to hinder Morningside with nine blocks at the net compared to only three by the Mustangs.And the service game for Park was also lopsided with 10 Pirate service aces to none for the Mustangs.
Leonardo Maldonado had 10 kills in the match to lead Park, followed by
Moises Ortiz with five.
Veljko Stojic was remarkable from the service line with four aces.
Mihailo Ivanovic was the leading blocker for Park, followed by
Alessandro Tolin and
Murillo Silva.
Park's setters split the time, as
Umberto Caleca had 17 assists and
Jovan Nikolic was at 13.
