The Park University men's volleyball program was in Breckon Sports Center on Friday, defeating another NAIA Top 15 unbeaten team in No. 12 Mount Mercy University. The Pirates earned the sweep against a team that had not given up a set to that point in the season.

Park moved to 13-0 and 5-0 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference, while the Mustangs moved to 7-1 and 3-1 in the Heart. 

The Pirates hit an outstanding .460 in the match, while the Mustangs were at .147. 

Aside from the opening set at 25-23, the Pirates were in control of the match offensively and went on for 25-14 and 25-20 wins. 

Adrian Figueroa led the Pirates with 15 kills, while Murillo Silva approached double-figures with nine kills. 

Park's defense was not letting anything easy by with six solo blocks and 15 block assists to make it a challenge for the Mustang hitters.
