Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Pirates Shutout Culver-Stockton on the Road, Campos with the Game Winner 1-Nil

The Park University men's soccer program travel to Canton, Missouri on Wednesday for a matchup with Culver-Stockton College. One goal was all it took for the Pirates to get their first win in Heart of America Athletic Conference play in 2025, as the Pirates defeat, the Wildcats 1–nil.

The Pirates move to 4-1-1 on the year while Culver-Stockton is 1-2-3. Park is now 1-1 in conference play, while Culver-Stockton is still looking for their first league win at 0-1-1.

In the first half, Park got a lift from the senior from Lima, Peru Julian Campos scoring his second unassisted goal of the season.

The Wildcats may have gotten more shots off in the game, nine compared to seven for Park, but in the match only two shots were on goal, both saved by Felipe Ramos, who moves to 4–1-1 on the season. The Pirates fired seven shots for the game with over half on goal, including five on frame.

Park managed to get their goal in the first half on only two shots and despite not scoring in the second half, they applied good pressure on the Wildcats with five shots on the Culver-Stockton side of the field.

Park had four corner kicks in the game compared to only two for Culver-Stockton.

A bit of mayhem ensued to close out the game as four yellow cards were issued in the 84th minute three to the Pirates and one to Culver-Stockton.

Park will stay on the road for their next NAIA top 25 matchup with cross conference opponent No. 3 MidAmerica Nazarene University on Saturday at 3:30 PM at CBAC in Olathe, Kan. This game will not be played on the campus of MidAmerica Nazarene. WATCH
