The Park University men's golf program was in Enid, Okla. for the Oakwood Intercollegiate held at Oakwood CC and hosted by Kansas Wesleyan University.
Park started off slower with a 304 in round one, but continued to shed double-digit strokes off their round two and three scores, 291 and 279. The Pirates took 4th place with an 874, but their third round was the lowest round of any other team for the tournament at five strokes under par.
Santonnson was in the zone by the end of the tournament, scoring seven birdies on his back-nine in round three. He continued to get better as the tournament went along, firing rounds of 75, 70, and 67 for a 212 and 3
rd place. He tied his personal best with a single round score of 67, which he hit at the Virginia McCoy Invitational in October. This would be the freshman's low in a 54-hole tournament as well.
