The No. 23Â seeded Park University women's volleyball program has been paired with Dakota Wesleyan University for the 2025Â NAIA Women's Volleyball National Championship Opening Round on Saturday, November 22 at 6pm in Breckon Sports Center. Both teams are at-large berths into the NAIA Opening Round.
Park has hosted five NAIA opening round matches in the last six seasons in Breckon Sports Center. The Pirates are 4-0 in those matches.
The first 75 students that bring their Park Student ID card will have free admission into the facility for each post-season competition. These first 75 student entry fees have been paid for by the generosity of Park University's Student Life for the opening round.
After the first 75 students though, the entrance fee is $5 for Park students. Card or cash payments will be accepted at the gate and concessions are available for purchase. No outside food or beverage will be permitted. Season ticket passes will not be accepted during NAIA post-season at Breckon Sports Center.

Team Overviews
Park comes into the contest with a 19-9 overall record and are fresh off of the 2025 Heart of America Athletic Conference Tournament Championship as the Runner-Up. These teams have met four times previously, Park has come out on top for a 4-0 record against Tigers. Most recently, Park and Dakota Wesleyan faced each other in 2021 NAIA National Championship Pool Play with Park sweeping and eventually going all the way to the NAIA National Championship match. 2021 also marked Dakota Wesleyan's first trip to the NAIA National Tournament final site.
The Tigers come out of the Great Plains Athletic Conference and have an 18-11 record in 2025. Recently, Head Coach Lindsay Wilber, the program's all-time winningest coach, earned her 200th career win this year in her 12th season with Dakota Wesleyan. Dakota Wesleyan has made it to NAIA post-season three times beginning in 1990. Most recently coach Wilber led the Tigers to the NAIA Tournament in back-to-back years in 2021 and 2022.Â
Park's all-time winningest head coach,
Michael Talamantes, has come into the season with 424 women's volleyball wins at Park as well in his 15th season. He has led Park to all 12 of the program's NAIA post-season appearances, which includes in impressive run of 12 of the last 13 years going back to the 2013 season.

2025Â Individual Honors
Dakota Wesleyan have five GPAC All-Conference players, including Kayleigh Hybertson and Elizabeth Tyler on 1st Team, Evy Knoblock on 2nd Team, and two Honorable Mention awardees in Karly VanDerWerff and Lily Ranschau.Â
The Pirates also had a host of Heart awards headlined by
Izabella Ceratti's Heart Assistant Coach of the Year award. The Heart All-Conference list includes, two 1st Team honorees in
Indi Zetic and
Silvia Albani,
Daniela Gomez on 2nd Team, and
Jullia Alvarez and
Isadora Dias were awarded 3rd Team.Â
