The Park University women's volleyball program traveled to Dubuque, Iowa on October 4 and defeated Clarke University in four sets. The Pirates and Clarke were even after the second set, but then won the last two sets for the match victory, 25-14, 21-25, 25-21, 25-15.
The Pirates hit .244 for the match, compared to Clarke's .083. The Pirates finished the match with an emphatic win with a .361 hitting percentage and 15 kills.
It was a second consecutive double-double for
Daniela Gomez with 18 kills to lead Park with 10 digs to add to her total.
Elisa Dalla Pozza was in double-figures along with
Isadora Dias at 10 kills apiece.Â
Jullia Alvarez had 22 digs for the match, while Park's setter
Silvia Albani was two digs shy of a double-double on eigt digs and 42 assists.
