The Park University women's soccer program was at Julian Field on Wednesday, October 15 against Grand View University.
Grand View entered at one win on the season and hold 1-6-4 and 1-6-2 in the conference. The Pirates had scored 16 goals in the  previous two games, so a shutout at Julian Field was a surprise. The Pirates move to 6-3-3 and 4-2-3 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.
The only shot for Grand View occured in the first half, but the Pirates had nine shots and three corner kicks in the first half alone.
There was near chance after near chance it felt like for the Pirates, but credit the Vikings' Maya Fritz with 13 saves in the contest. Meanwhile,
Delaney Duke had zero shots on goal against her in her 90 minutes.
Patrycia Kozak had 11 shots alone with seven on target, but still no dice.
In fact, there were 20 shots fired by Park in the second half to get up to 29 for the game. Of those shots, 13 were on goal, but the Vikings' defense held up for the nil-nil draw.
