The Park University men's soccer program passed their first road test of the season on Saturday against Hastings College in Hastings, Neb.

The Broncos move to 1-3 on the year, while the Pirates are undefeated at 2-0. This is the ninth contest between these teams and Park just went over the hump of taking the lead in the series total at 5-4.

There were plenty of chances in the early going for Park as three shots on goal were registered on goal within the first 16 minutes. The Pirates broke through though for the game's first goal just under 30 minutes into the match at 29:29. Jacksyn McIntyre scored his second goal of the season with the assist coming in from Alfonso Vigna.

There were 11 shots by Park in the first half compared to only one for the Broncos. The second half began to side more with Hastings though as they hit 12 shots with five shots on goal. In just his second game as a Pirate, Felipe Ramos Peralta got his second clean sheet with five saves in the second half to secure the victory for Park.

In the end, Park had 14 total shots with four shots on goal, while the Broncos totaled 13 shots with four on goal.

Aside from McIntyre, Diego Quintana had three shots on goal, the most of any player Saturday.
