Park University's softball program hosted No. 3 Central Methodist University on Saturday with both games going to the Eagles at the Park Softball Complex, 10-1 and 7-0.
The Pirates move to .500 on the season at 15-15 with a 5-9 Heart of America Athletic Conference record, while the Eagles stay perfect with a 12-0 conference record and a 31-3 overall record.

The Eagles jumped on Park in the first inning with four hits and two walks to score the game's first two runs.
Dakota Rau was in the circle for the Pirates and did what she could to limit damage, but nonetheless, Central Methodist scored another three runs in the second inning, all of which were unearned.
Abbie Farmer would come in to pitch the remaining 5.1 innings with another five runs coming in to her credit.
The Pirates scored one run in the fifth inning, but were unable to get much going after a promising second inning with two lead-off singles by
Kal Day and
Chloe Gilbert were halted and the two Pirates were left stranded.
The Eagles went on to a 10-1 win and only allowed three hits by Park, while hitting 17 themselves.

It was a special game for the Eagles' pitcher Haile Farris, who pitched a perfect game, a seven-inning, complete game shutout without allowing a hit, walk, or a runner reaching on an error.
Lauren Fiene competed well with four shutout innings tossed, but a four-run third inning on three hits and an error was a big difference maker. Still the junior from Concordia, Mo. had an outstanding nine strikeouts against the No. 3 team in the country.
Three more runs would come in to score for the Eagles in the last two innings for the 7-0 win.
