Park University's softball program was in Canton, Mo. on Saturday for a doubleheader with Culver-Stockton College, coming away from the road trip with two wins, 4-1 and 7-2.
The Pirates are now over .500 on the season with a 14-12 record and are now 4-6 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference, while the Wildcats fall to 10-24 and 1-9 in the Heart.

Halle Magee belted a ball to left field in the top of the first to get Park on the board, 2-0.
In the circle,
Dakota Rau put an excellent game plan into place with a complete game on only three hits and zero earned runs. A fielding error by Park in the bottom of the fifth gave Culver-Stockton their only run.
The Wildcats had their own defensive mistakes and Park capitalized on an error in the top of the sixth to extend the lead, 3-1.
Finally, Magee tacked on another insurance run with a double in the seventh inning for the 4-1 victory.
The Pirates only had four hits, and three of the runs came on Magee's two extra base-hits.

There was more offense to go around in game two to the amount of 13 hits for seven runs.
Park would strike first in the top of the third on a
Shelby Sanders single, but the Wildcats answered right back in the bottom half of the inning with a home run to tie, 1-1.
The Pirates kept the intensity up though and scored five runs in the next two innings.
Caroline Ray helped manufacture some offense with a stolen base in the top of the fourth that allowed
Chloe Gilbert to come in from third on the throw down to second. Ray then would come in on a ground out by
Nia Muniz.
Kal Day was a big source of offense with a perfect four-for-four game two at the plate and gave Park a three-run boost with a home run to dead centerfield.
Before the game was out, Sanders arrived at three hits with a solo home run to make it 7-1.
Lauren Fiene did an awesome job in the circle with a complete game on eight strikeouts and allowed just one earned run.
The Pirates now play No. 3 Central Methodist University on Saturday, April 13 at 1pm and 3pm at the Park Softball Complex.
