The Park University indoor track & field program delivered some excellent personal bests at the Northwest Missouri State hosted Bearcat Invitational on Friday and Saturday in Maryville, Mo.

No team scores were recorded this weekend, but the Pirates had 15 personal records on the women's side and 14 on the men's team.

Mya Charles qualified for the finals of the 60m dash with a qualifying time and personal best of 7.94 and finished 25^th in the 60m dash finals with an 8.09.

Five other 60m dash runners had PR's, including Grace Pearson, Adison Hayden, Hope Klamm, Shanai Sweeting, and Jayden Dettimere.

In the 200m dash, Hayden, Sweeting, and Dettimere ran personal bests as well. Grace Pearson led Park in the event though with a 26.91 for 40^th.

Destiny Pearson ran a personal record in the 400m dash, good enough for 20^th in a time of 1:01.66. Hope Klamm was behind in 34^th in a time of 1:03.61, while Hannah Mand took 37^th in a new personal record of 1:04.08.

Destiny had a great showing in the 600 yard event with a 1:32.06 for a personal best on a 13^th place finish.

McKenzie Carty was at the top of her game in the distance events with 30^th in the one mile run for a personal record of 6:12.35 and took home a personal best in the 3,000m run with a time of 12:49.49 for 26^th.

Jasmin Klaunig followed suite in the 1,000m run with a personal record of 3:41.51 for 27^th.

For the men's team, Shemar Caines had a personal record in the 200m with a 23.45 for 54^th. His teammate Lynden Mackey followed behind him in a time of 24.58 for 87^th.

Chase Housh and Amael Maunay led the way in the 400m dash for Park with 20^th and 30^th, recording personal bests in the process with a 50-flat for Housh and 50.83 for Maunay. Ian Walsh joined those two with a personal record of his own with a 55.28.

All the 600 yard run racers brought home personal records. Alexander Caines was 8^th with a 1:13.46, Thore Wegner was 22^nd on a 1:18.71, and Walsh was 28^th in a 1:20.05.

Alexander was also top 10 in the 800m event on a 1:55.58 for 10^th and another personal record.  Trailing were his teammates Ethan Willmann and Manuel Reyes. Reyes had himself a weekend with a personal record too.

Entering the distance events, Tom Kuehnel secured two personal records in the one mile run and the 1,000m in times of 4:25.11 and 2:33.96, respectively.

Lukas Mehl clocked a 4:33.28 in the one mile for 24^th and like Kuehnel, he also earned a personal best.

Willmann was top 10 in the 1,000m event in 8^th and clocked a personal record with a 2:31.65.

The Pirates were 4^th in the 4x400m relay and impressed with a 3:21.67.

Jaylin Harris showed his strength in the shot put with a personal best mark of 11.80m for 33^rd.
