The Park University Pirates have five individual entries on the women's side, and a good portion of the men's team with 12 individual entries and three relays.
Park makes the trek to Gainesville, Fla. March 5-7 at Alachua County Sports & Events Center at Celebration Pointe.Â
Both teams have been going at an extraordinary pace with the men's team coming off its first Heart of America Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship and the women's team placing 4th.
Between both teams a remarkable 18 indoor school records have been captured, 12 on the men's side and six on the women's side.
Tune into all the action this week at the championships below, but keep your eyes out for the several Pirates that are coming into the meet Top 10 in the nation.
Van Forbes Jr. currently is 7th in the nation in the 60m.Â
Alexander Caines comes in at the NAIA No. 6 with a 1:18.56.
Cody Hammond, the 2026 Heart Male Track Athlete of the Meet with 30 points scored, is Top five at the No. 4 spot with a 1:50.75 in the 800m.
Park's 4x800m, comprised of
Caden Peters,
Alexander Caines, Hammond, and
Palmer O'Connor are ranked 9th with a 7:39.44.
Park's jumpers are elite as well with
Ahmad Evans and
Sam Thomas, who are both tied with Park's school record, also are tied at No. 7 in the long jump at 7.41m.
Rosjai Curtis in just her sophomore season, is a two-time NAIA Indoor Track & Field All-American from 2025. This year she is poised to make another run with a tied for 3rd rank in the long jump at 5.99m and tied in triple jump at 12.13m. Last year she was 4th in the long jump and 6th in the triple jump at indoor nationals.
