The Park University Esports League of Legends program is the No. 3 seed in the 2024 Heart of America Athletic Conference League of Legends Tournament this Saturday, October 19. The Pirates welcome the three other competing Heart schools, No. 1 Grand View University, No. 2 Culver-Stockton College, and No. 4 Central Methodist University to the Parkade in the Park Underground, the host site of the in-person tournament. 

The Pirates are 2-3 on the season and have Zackery Fritz, who earned a Heart Esports  League of Legends Player of the Week to open the season. The Pirates won the inaugural event last season for the 2023 Heart Conference Tournament Championship. 

Park is also pleased to host a side tournament in SuperSmash Brothers simultaneously while the event is going on for other non-LoL Esports student-athletes from the competing schools.  

Grand View enters as the only undefeated team at 6-0.
