Park University's men's volleyball program secure three 2023 College Sports Communicators Academic All-America At-Large awards announced on Wednesday by CSC.

The three Pirates recognized are Daniel Isernhagen, Mateus Carvalho, and Gabriel Soares. Isernhagen was placed on the First Team, while Carvalho and Soares were awarded Second Team slots.

Each of these student-athletes were named CSC Academic All-District last month and have attained their Academic All-America status through the votes of CSC membership. The initial requirements to be eligible for this award include, student-athletes must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50, participate in at least 50-percent of the season's total contests, and have reached sophomore athletic eligibility.

Three Academic All-Americans is the most that a program has produced at Park in a single season. This also marks the fourth straight year that Park men's volleyball has garnered an Academic All-American.
