The No. 9 nationally ranked Park University men's volleyball program has qualified for the 2025 NAIA Men's Volleyball National Championship Tournament as an at-large berth and will be the No. 8 seed in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
The championship will be held at Alliant Energy PowerHouse for the second year in a row and the tournament will run from April 29 through May 3.
12 teams qualify for the national championship and this year, the Heart of America Athletic Conference boasted the most qualifying teams at 5, No. 4 Missouri Baptist, No. 6 Missouri Valley, No. 7 Grand View, and No. 9 Mount Mercy.
Park is 19-6 with a 15-4 conference record and is coming off a Heart Quarterfinal loss to Grand View, who received an automatic bid into the national tournament as the Heart Tournament Champion as a No. 5 seed. All of Park's regular season conference losses were in five set matches.
The Pirates are tied with the second most tournament appearances within this field of teams with 5 appearances since the NAIA moved Men's Volleyball to Championship status in 2019. When considering the emerging sport and invitational sport statuses for the NAIA men's volleyball national tournament, the Pirates have 24 appearances since 2000 and have only missed out on NAIA post-season in 2018 and 2024 during that span.
The Pirates will face the No. 1 seeded Mustangs of the Master's University (Calif.) and the Mustangs of No. 9 Mount Mercy University.

The Master's have made three appearance at nationals since 2019 and the Great Southwest Athletic Tournament Champion is a perfect 23-0 on the season, one of two teams without a loss in 2025. The Pirates have only crossed paths with The Master's once in program history, which was in Chandler, Arizona in 2024. The Master's earned the sweep over Park and went on to be the 2024 NAIA Runner-Up to Georgetown College.
The final site host, Mount Mercy will be playing in their home city of Cedar Rapids and secured a host bid into the national tournament. They are 22-6 on the season and were 15-4 in Heart play. They have reached the national tournament two years in a row and appeared in the Heart Tournament Semifinals this season. Park only faced Mount Mercy once this season, which was a five-set loss in Cedar Rapids.
Currently, the Pirates are ranked No. 6 in the NAIA in kills per set at 12.91, No. 5 in assists per set at 12.25, and No. 5 in blocks per set at 2.52.
The Pirates will be in action on April 30 at 7pm (CT) against Mount Mercy to begin tournament play. See the links below to follow along during the tournament.
