The Park University indoor track & field program traveled to Pittsburg, Kan. on Saturday, December 9 for the Crimson and Gold Invitational hosted by Pittsburg State University.

On the women's side, only McKenzie Carty represented Park and she placed 42^nd in the 5,000m race in a time of 20:48.24.

Alexander Caines was a top 10 finisher in the 600 yard run, posting a 1:15.01.

Tom Kuehnel improved his time from last week in the 800m race by .89 seconds for a 2:02.13 for 52^nd.  

Manuel Reyes led the pack of Pirates in the one mile event at a pace of 4:26.39 for 30^th.

Park's 4x400m relay team had a few adjustments and featured Benjamin Preston, Caines, Reyes, and Andrew Figueroa. The group improved last week's time be 1.56 seconds for a time of 3:38.55 and placed 35^th.
