Biography

Wendy Romero is a transfer from Miami Dade College, where she was a two-time NJCAA First-Team All-American as well as FCSAA State Player of the Year in 2013...In 2008, she helped Venezuela qualify for the Beijing Olympics at the age of 16...Parents are Jose Luis and Carmen F. Romero, and reside in her birthplace of Cojedes, San Carlos, Venezuela.

2015 - Sat out the 2015 season after a season-ending injury in the summer.

2014 - Had one of the most decorated seasons in Park University Athletics history, culminating in a first-team All-America selection in the NAIA and tournament MVP in the NAIA national championship in Sioux City ... Broke Park's single-season record for aces (79) and averaged 4.48 kills per set, which ranks third all-time for the Pirates ... Saved her best volleyball for the end of the year, with all three 20-kill outings coming in the national tournament, beginning with 24 against Eastern Oregon ... Had 21 kills against Concordia and 24 against Biola, finishing with 16 in the NAIA national championship match against Texas at Brownsville.
