• Samantha Rivera is the daughter of Chris and Kris Rivera and has one sibling, Alex (17)
• Attended Smithville High School, where she played volleyball and earned All-Conference for first-team, second-team and honorable mention…
• Also selected All-District for first-team and second-team
• Led Smithville in blocks all four seasons and won the Warrior Heart Award in 2013
• She received the Magna Cum Laude at graduation for being in the Top 15 in her high school class with a GPA of 3.86
• Chose Park because it offers a great education program
• Majoring in Early Childhood Education
