Previous Seasons

• 2019: Hensley played in a total of 29 sets over 15 matches...She collected 22 digs, put away 14 kills, had a total of five blocks (one solo block) and served up three aces...Was also a member of the reserve team helping them to a record of 15-8.
• 2020: Hensley appeared in 78 sets in the span of 24 matches on the year...She executed 140 digs, hammered 107 kills, sent back 12 total blocks with four solo blocks, hit 12 service aces, lifted three assists, and had an attack percentage of .167.
• 2021: She appeared in 89 sets over 31 matches in 2021 for Park...She recovered 193 digs, hit 67 kills, delivered 19 service aces, blocked 10 attacks with one solo block, and recorded nine assists.
• 2022: She appeared in 120 sets over 35 matches her senior year. She had 365 kills on the season, ranking No. 2 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference. She averaged 3.04 kills per set and hit .229. She had an extremely balanced game with 418 digs, 50 blocks, and 43 service aces on her way to Heart Player of the Year Honors.

Personal

• Malaina is the daughter of Sean and Julie Hensley
• She has four siblings: Alyssa, Aleah, Jaegar, and Keaton
• Planning on pursuing different majors until she finds the right major
• Chose park because her two sisters attended Park. She remembers watching her older sister, Alyssa, playing volleyball at Park when she was little and always wishing and working hard to be able to do that same. The minute she walked into the gym for tryouts, it just felt like home to her. The volleyball team has shown such kindness and openness towards her!
• Went to Oak Park High School in Kansas City, Missouri
• Malaina was a four-time All-Conference player, three-time All-District player, holds three records of the highest season serving percentage, highest career serving percentage, and highest career digs.
• Played for Club North since she was 12, and was coached by Ibraheem Suberu
• She has been to National three times with her club team
