  • 2020: Halasey made 12 appearances and started in 11 matches in the 2020 season...In her first year at Park, she made meaningful contributions on the defensive side of the field.
  • 2021: She appeared in 11 games for the Pirates and made six starts. On the backline, she helped Park to two shutouts and had one assist on the year.

Personal

  • Daughter of George and Denise Halasey
  • She has three younger siblings, Anna, Alex, and Amelia
  • Pursuing a nursing degree
  • Chose Park because of the reasonable tuition cost, she liked that campus is close to home, and she wanted to continue her athletic career at a reputable university
  • Transferred from Blue River Community College and previously attended Blue Springs South High School
  • At Blue River, she was a team captain in 2018 and 2019, received a leadership award in 2018, and contributed to her team’s 2018 Regional Championship
  • Academically, she made the Dean’s List in 2019 at Blue River
  • She actively volunteers at Harvesters, helps with Family Justice Center’s annual Adoption Day, and serves food to families at the Ronald McDonald House
  • Abigail enjoys visiting her family’s lake house in the summer, going shopping, listening to music, and spending time with family
