Park University has officially added three new staff members to different athletic departments. Dylan Vander Veen, sports information; Izabella Ceratti, event operations manager; and Abriana Palacio-Moore, athletic trainer, have all joined Park.
Dylan Vander Veen- Sports Information Director
Dylan Vander Veen, 24, brings a variety of experience to Park. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism/Mass Communications in 2024, and quickly got involved in the sports industry. He spent the last two years at Regis University in Denver, CO, as the Director of Broadcast for Regis athletics. While at Regis, he was the "Voice of the Rangers" for all home athletic events. He also worked as the "Voice of Cougars" for Colorado Christian University in Lakewood, CO.
In addition to broadcasting, Dylan helped Regis in the athletic communications department. He worked extensively with college athletes at the NCAA Division 2 level and has experience in broadcasting, reporting, and athletic communications.
During the 2025 summer, he spent time with the Mat-Su Miners in the Alaska Baseball League as the Director of Sports Information and Broadcast during the Miners' historic championship season. He received the ABL "Broadcaster of the Year" award while in Alaska as the "Voice of the Miners."
"I'm excited to join a university rich in history and culture, and I look forward to continuing to highlight Pirate Athletics and its student-athletes at an elite level," Vander Veen said.
Izabella Ceratti- Event Operations Manager
Izabella Ceratti continues her career at Park University in a new role. She served as an assistant coach for men's/women's volleyball at Park last season and will continue as a volunteer assistant under new women's volleyball head coach Erin Cooper while starting her new role as the event operations manager.
Izabella graduated with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Park University in 2025, stayed in Parkville, and is currently working towards her MBA in Management. She played two seasons on the university's women's volleyball team before staying with the team as an assistant coach. She won the AVCA Midwest assistant coach of the year in 2025 and coached the Park women's beach volleyball team.
"I'm so excited to officially step into the Game Operations role! It's been an amazing journey going from being an assistant in the volleyball program to this opportunity," Ceratti said. I'm incredibly grateful for everyone who's supported me along the way, and I can't wait to get started and help create great experiences for our student-athletes and fans."
Abriana Palacio-Moore – Athletic Trainer
Abriana Palacio-Moore is joining from Kansas State University in May 2026. A native of Olathe, Kansas, she also earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and is a Board of Certification (BOC) certified and Missouri-licensed athletic trainer.
During her time at Kansas State, Palacio-Moore worked closely with the Wildcats' women's volleyball team and the men's and women's track and field programs. Those experiences allowed her to develop her clinical skills while working alongside student-athletes and sports medicine professionals in a Division I setting.
"I was drawn to Park because of the close-knit community and the welcoming atmosphere," Palacio-Moore said. "From my first visit, it felt like a place where people genuinely care about one another. I'm excited to get to know the student-athletes and be part of helping them stay healthy, compete at their best, and enjoy their experience at Park."
Palacio-Moore joins the Pirate athletic training staff and looks forward to building relationships with the student-athletes, coaches, and the rest of the Park community.
