The Park University men's golf program has four additions to the 2024 NAIA PING All-Region Team for the Central Region announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Tuesday.

This year Guillermo Cervantes, Cholnan Nunya, Santiago Valdes, and Dylan Comstock each have been named PING all-region.

This group of four each have 2024 Heart All-Conference honors in common as well, as each of these four Pirates were in the top five at the conference championship at the Preserve Golf Course on Rathbun Lake in Moravia, Iowa.

For Cervantes and Nunya, this is their second consecutive season earning this honor, while Comstock and Valdes earn this award for the first time.

Cervantes, the only senior of the group, was the individual medalist at the 2024 Heart of America Athletic Conference Championship and finished T93rd at the 2024 NAIA National Championship. This year in his four events he had a stroke average of 74.87.

Nunya finished out his second year at Park with a 73.27 scoring average and had two top three finishes this season.

Valdes had a great opening year at Park, starting off with a T2nd place finish in his Pirate debut in 2023-24 at the Bates Shaw Memorial Crestview Invitational. He had consistent rounds all season to get to a 73.05 scoring average on the year.

Comstock turned in his lowest scoring average of his three-year Pirate career with a 73.18 and now stands at 74.65 for his career. He was began the season with a 213 in three rounds at the Hesston Fall Kickoff, which he then matched his 54-hole career-low at the 2024 Heart Conference Championship with a 213 again. He placed 3rd at the Hesston Fall Kickoff, while T4th at the conference championship.
