The Park University men's golf program sent the 2024 Heart of America Athletic Conference Men's Golf Individual Medalist Guillermo Cervantes to Dalton, Ga. for the 2024 NAIA Men's Golf National Championships on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 21-22.

While at the Dalton Golf & Country Club, Cervantes took T93rd, but did not make the cut for round three.

He shot two identical rounds of 79 both days, or seven strokes over par, to finish with a 159 (+14). He one birdie in round one and two more coming in round two.

The senior has closed out the last two seasons of his four-year Park career with appearances at NAIA Men's Golf National Championships in 2023 and 2024.

In 2023, he qualified along with the rest of the Park men's golf team that won the 2023 Heart Conference Championship. Last year in Mesa, Arizona at Las Sendas Golf Club, Cervantes placed T104th with a total score of 157 with a 75 and 82.
