The Park University No. 4 nationally ranked women's beach volleyball program was in Chesterfield, Mo. for the St. Louis Invitational on Friday and Saturday, March 8-9, breezing past the competition for an additional four wins.
Park entered the weekend with a 3-4 record and now climb up to 7-4, backing up their most recent climb in the NAIA National Coaches' Top 10 Poll earlier this week. This now makes for six wins in a row for the Pirates. After this weekend, the Pirates are also 3-0 against NAIA competition.
Park's pairs are reaching some impressive feats so far in 2024 with Park's one through three flights each with two or fewer losses.
Park began the weekend with a five match sweep over Bryant & Stratton College (Wisc.). All of the pairs for Park had 2-0 wins, and to put it in perspective three pairs did not allow Bryant & Stratton to break 10 points in a single set,
Grecia Ung and
Arianna Marino,
Luna Martins and
Mafalda Bras, and
Irene Verdino and
Amra Kovac.
