No. 4 Park Continues to Win Out at Ottawa Tournament

The Park University No. 4 nationally ranked women's beach volleyball program was in Ottawa, Kan. for the Ottawa University Beach Volleyball Tournament on Thursday, March 14 at Shawnee Beach.   
Park is now 9-4 on the season and has an eight-match win-streak after a two wins over (RV) Ottawa and Baker University.  

A win in the No. 5 flight was captured by Ottawa, but outside of that Park had some sizeable victories against the Braves. Carla Pons Sales and Izabella Ceratti were in a battle in the No. 3 flight with a three set victory that came down to a 15-13 score in set three.

Park had an even greater showing in their match with Baker and had all 2-0 sweeps with the exception of a 2-1 win by Amra Kovac and Irene Verdino in the fifth spot. Four of the pairs, including the exhibition match, did not allow the Wildcats to reach 10 points in a set.

Park will get back to NCAA Division II competition at the Southwest Baptist Tournament on Friday and Saturday, March 22-23 in Ozark, Mo. at Volleyball Beach Ozark.
