The Park University men's soccer program put up a fight in Fayette, Mo. and led for most of the game against the No. 22 ranked Eagles of Central Methodist University, but a late goal tied the game for the 1-1 draw.
A tie will help keep Park within reach in the Heart of America Athletic Conference standings at 2-2-1 in conference play and 5-2-2 on the regular season. The Eagles are still in a good position in the Heart at 3-1-1 and at an outstanding 9-1-1 on the season.

Going into the second half, the Pirates kept the defense strong with three more saves from
Felipe Ramos Peralta. Peralta had five saves for the match. Park gave the Eagles all they had in the second half too with five shots on goal of their six second half shots.
With the game still at 1-0, the Eagles were able to get one back on the Pirates with a Cesar Cuellar unassisted goal in the 81
