The Park University men's cross country program ran well on Saturday at the Brian Simpson Invite in Columbia, Mo. for Park's second race at the 8k course at Gans Creek.

The Pirates had 159 points by the end of the competition and beat out three NCAA Division II programs.

Lukas Mehl shot out first for the Pirates and placed just outside of the top 10 in 13^th with a time of 25:29.

Tom Kuehnel and Cayden Walker worked together to get in at 25^th and 26^th, posting times of 25:51 and 25:53, respectively.

Palmer O'Connor grabbed 43^rd with a time of 26:24, while Park's fifth runner, Ethan Willmann, crossed at 27:31 for 85^th.
